London theatre tickets for The Rivals

Tickets for The Rivals will be available next week for those fans who are travelling to London in forthcoming week.

To catch the hilarious Penelope Keith as the "verbally misguided" Mrs Malaprop at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, this could be the last chance.

Set in 1775 Bath, the show follows the lives of Mrs Malaprop, her romantic niece Lydia Languish, country bumpkin Bob Acres and a whole host of other characters, as they attempt to pursue love over the course of one day.

A reviewer writing for TheatreguideLondon said: "Director Peter Hall evidently trusts the text so completely that he has instructed his cast to do nothing to try to add to the comedy already there on the page."

They suggested this approach means there are laughs aplenty for the audience.
